Classics Northwest presents the first concerts of 2026 on Saturday, March 7 at 5pm and Sunday, March 8 at 3pm, both at Barrister Winery in Spokane. The acclaimed London-based, Australian Pianist Piers Lane joins Classics Northwest Artistic Director Zuill Bailey for two programs. The 2026 guest appearance by Piers Lane marks his third Spokane visit with the last one being in 2017

In a Gramophone magazine review of pianist Piers Lane, Bryce Morrison wrote:“No praise could be high enough for Piers Lane, whose playing is of a superb musical intelligence, sensitivity and scintillating brilliance.”  Piers has performed in over forty countries with highlights including annual recitals in London’s Wigmore Hall and appearances at Carnegie Hall. In England, where Piers has written and performed over one hundred programs for the BBC, at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Birthday honors, he was named as Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to his country. www.pierslane.com
